Welcome to “The world on dishes”. My name is MOMIZI from Japan and I’m Web Engineer. This Blog is run on WordPress to balance my development work and hobbies. So, my hobby is cooking.
Let me introduce you one episode.
Anyone can buy a Raisins in Japan. Although some people don’t like it, they are a popular food, it is often eaten with bread.
One day I found a video on how to make pilaf with it. “Raisins and Rice!?” If you’re Japanese like me, you’d probably react like this. What about you? This dish called “PLOV” in Uzbekistan.
I asked one of my Uzbek international students. “Is PLOV a famous dish in your country?” A few minutes later, we quickly became good friends.
And I learned. The world is big, and so is the world of cooking. Then, this event ignited the gunpowder of my curiosity.
I researched the materials, found the recipe, and decided to recreate this dish. I’ll stop talking about PLOV on this page, but this is how I spent my days traveling the world on dishes while living in Japan.
Yes, this Blog is my recipe and research.
I’m not good at English, but thank you for reading to the end.
